1. The Odua Peoples Congress, famously known as OPC has given 14-day ultimatum to suspected Niger Delta militants to stop attacking communities in the South West region, else the Ijaw people in the region would face similar consequence.

OPC, which issued the threat while reacting to recent attacks by suspected militants on Imusin and Ogijo in Ogun and some riverine communities in Ikorodu area of Lagos State, reminded the group that no one has monopoly of violence.

2. The youth wing of the Ohaneze Ndigbo has declared that they were not part of those agitating for the birth of the Republic of Biafra. The youth group maintained that Igbos are the landlords of Nigeria and as such, they would not vacate the country for any in the name of fighting for Biafra.

3. Prominent Nigerians who reportedly looted the nation’s treasury during the last administration have indicated their interest to return their share of looted funds.
