Former President Jerry John Rawlings will be the Guest of Honour and lead speaker at a public lecture in Accra on Wednesday morning to mark the 30th anniversary of the 31st December Revolution.

A statment issued by the organising committee of the celebration on Tuesday said, the lecture, under theme:”Three Decades of Grassroots Participation: Its Relevance to the Current Political Dispensation, is being organised by the Cadre Front at the National Theatre

The statement said other speakers would include Mr Paul Victor Obeng, Dr. Mrs. Mary Grant and Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings.

The celebrations commenced on December 20 with a medical outreach at Bukom and Nungua.
